The Consul General of Canada to Vietnam, Mr. Audri Mukhopadhyay, spoke to the secondary students at CIS today, Monday May 7 on the topic of Leadership in the 21st Century.  He provided a context for dialogue with the students by identifying some widely held attributes of leaders

The Ambassador's presence yesterday in the CIS community certainly was a unique honor. The hour and 15 minute visit was dignified, personable, casual and formal with opportunities to visit classes, meet teaching and business staff, drop in to the Student assembly at MLC and address the students on the character attribute of perseverance, and tour our impressive campus facilities.
After the Lunar New Year holiday, CIS court yard once again welcomed  back the laughter of our students in the morning sun light. Time flies, and today is already the 100th day of the school year 2010-2011. CIS  students are celebrating the 100th day of school with exciting games: treasure hunting, 100-signatures collecting, paper hat wearing, painting and craft making in the theme of the number 100.

If we are optimistic we have to glad because we have still half of it full" - "In this race you might be half-way from start line OR half way to the finish"
