‘ART FOR ACTION 2012’ AT CIS
16/06/2012 11:24

On June 7, 2012, CIS welcomed more than 600 students and parents to the successful exhibition night “Art for Action 2012” that was well organized by the students. Though it was cloudy and threatening to rain, parents showed up on time at the Maple Leaf Center to attend such a meaningful event from 18:00 – 21:00.

A series of artistic activities took place at the exhibition such as: paintings’ display, music performance and drama… It was a fascinating art festival with lively music and hundreds of colorful drawings made by our talented students during the school year 2011 – 2012. The artistic works were displayed along the hall and at the reception area of the MCL. In addition, audiences were attracted and surprised with the student choir, music performances and, above all, the beautiful play “A thousand cranes” of students in drama class ADA20 since they were quite professional and well prepared, that’s why most parents stayed till the end of the program.

Message to visitors from CIS teachers and students

"We help them by giving money, clothes, toys ….we often invite them to our school to play with us… we organize  games for them to play and train them living skills. We do our best to show our care for them and make their life more beautiful...”

Students invited parents to make donations for the charity

The night seemed to be more meaningful since students showed their voluntary spirit to help the community and people in need. Everybody felt warm in their heart and it turned out to be unforgettable event…
