Exciting Life of CIS Students Study Grade 12 at Ontario

The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) has just sent to CIS and parents a report about the study and living situation of 10 CIS students who transferred to Sir Winston Churchill SS and Governor Simcoe SSin Ontario to finished Grade 12 in this school year. According to the report, every CIS students have been well cared for by DSBN, who ensures that they can quickly adapt to a new environment. A good news is all CIS students had achieve good results in mid-term report, with some even better than local students.

Besides being ensured by DSBN in the matter of school and accommodation at home-stay families, according to weekend’s activity schedule, CIS students also had chances to visit well-known places, such as Niagara Fall and Wonderland Theme Park near Toronto, the CN Tower – one of Seven Wonders of modern world, Toronto Science Center, or Ontario Museum…

CIS students also experienced their very first Halloween in Canada. The night before Halloween, together with DSBN teachers and CIS representative in Canada, they had an imposing dinner party at East Restaurant in downtown. St. Catharines. Instead of all-you-can-eat candy, typical of Halloween, they enjoyed all-you-can-eat Sushi and other delicious Asian foods. Thank DSBN teachers and staffs for making the home-away life of our CIS students become more at ease and full of sweet memories.
