CIS Students at the SEAMCoference

The SEAM (South East Asia Movement) conference was held at the National University of Singapore 27-30 May 2016. At the conference, students learnt more about important issues like global warming, mass migration and economic crises in Southeast Asia and have the opportunity to take action.

This conference was being subsidized by Yale University, a prestigious American university, and the National University of Singapore University Scholars Club. Over 250 students applied individually, submitting thoughtful, wellwritten responses to questions about current issues and their involvement at school and beyond. Only 100 students were chosen to attend from around the region. We are very proud to announce that 5 students from CIS were accepted: Vu Pham Gia Uyen (Kathie - Grade 12), Tran Nguyen Phuong Khanh (Bella - Grade 11, IB), Giang Tuyet Huong (Susan - Grade 10), Doan Mai Thuy Vy (Jen - Grade 10), Le Dang Anh (David - Grade 10).
