Dear CISS families,

To bring our quality to a new height at the Canadian International School System (CISS), the Board of Directors of Khoi Nguyen Education Holdings has made the decision to appoint Dr. Brenda Williamson as our new Head of School from the 2020-2021 school year and recognize Dr. Sheryl Freeman - Chair of CISS Leadership team wish to pursue her new aspiration.

Dr. Brenda Williamson has 15 years of experience in school administrator positions at several international schools in Asia. In particular, she has a good understanding and valuable experience in International Baccalaureate (IB), The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum,  A-level, and American Curriculum. Together with our current Canadian and Australian leaders at CIS, BCIS, and AES, Dr. Brenda will make an important contribution to the success of the upcoming development strategy that the Board of Directors has identified for CISS. (Please take some time to view a brief biography of Dr. Brenda attached below).

Since March 2020, despite all obstacles caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Brenda has arrived in Vietnam and has been working with Dr. Sheryl to carry out the handover process in the past three months. She has also worked hard with the Board of Directors towards restructuring the academic leadership team to build a sustainable development strategy for the system. The CISS community is very pleased to welcome Dr. Brenda and we expect that the new academic leadership team will bring great inspiration as well as positive changes to the education environment at CISS.

On this occasion, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Sheryl Freeman for her contributions to CIS and our system during the past six years. We wish you always to be healthy and successful in your new journey at the EMASI Nam Long school.
